California and Arnold Palmer Host the PGA Tour |

 With a temperate climate and lots of sunshine, California is home to over 1,100 golf courses. This large state encompasses much of the coastline for the Pacific Ocean. The PGA Tour visits California several times a year and the first stop on the tour is at the Classic Club in Palm Desert. The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic is played on this and several other golf courses. The Classic Club was designed by Arnold Palmer and features large landing areas and rolling greens.
